Commercial Projects

Windows, Doors & Architectural Metal for Commercial Projects

One aluminum supplier for the building envelope and the metal around it, with shop drawings on every project and crews or supply-only across Canada.

ArcView supplies and installs thermally broken aluminum windows and doors and custom architectural metal, railings, fencing, gates, louvers and screens, for commercial, multi-residential and institutional projects across Canada. Developers, general contractors and design teams get one supplier, one finish across the envelope, shop drawings on every package and supply-only or supply-and-install from Toronto and Vancouver.

  • Shop drawings on every project; engineer-stamped where the jurisdiction requires it
  • Windows, doors, guards, fencing and screens in one matched powder-coat finish
  • Supply-only to the GC or supply-and-install by ArcView crews
  • Architectural metal is commercial only; windows and doors also serve homeowners

Who we work with

Developers & owners

One aluminum supplier for windows, doors, guards, fencing and screens, so the envelope reads as one finish and one warranty conversation.

General contractors

Supply-only or supply-and-install packages with shop drawings, anchor details and a schedule that follows your sequence.

Architects & specifiers

Section details, finish standards and code references you can put in the spec, and a fabricator that builds to them.

Property & facility managers

Recladding, guard replacement and site fencing on occupied buildings, phased around residents and operations.

How a project runs

  1. STEP 1

    Drawings & scope

Send architectural drawings, a site plan or a marked-up photo set. We confirm scope, code path and finish options and return a budget range.

  2. STEP 2

    Shop drawings & engineering

ArcView prepares shop drawings for the specific site. Where the authority having jurisdiction requires it, drawings are reviewed and stamped by a licensed engineer in the project's province.

  3. STEP 3

    Finish & sample approval

Powder-coat colour is matched to a RAL reference or an existing building finish. A coated sample and a section sample are approved before fabrication starts.

  4. STEP 4

    Fabrication

Extruded 6063-T5 aluminum profiles are cut, welded or mechanically joined to the shop drawings, then powder coated in a controlled process.

  5. STEP 5

    Delivery & installation

Supply-only to the general contractor, or supply and install by ArcView crews. Both are available across Canada.

What to send

  • · Architectural drawings (plans, elevations, sections) in PDF
  • · Window and door schedule, or a guard/fence layout on the site plan
  • · Finish reference: RAL number or a sample of the adjacent cladding
  • · Target dates for shop drawings, delivery and installation
  • · Whether the package is supply-only or supply-and-install
  • · The consultant's contact for shop-drawing review

No drawings yet? A site plan or a marked-up photo set is enough for a budget range.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does ArcView work with general contractors on a supply-only basis?
Yes. ArcView supplies windows, doors, railings, fencing and custom metal to general contractors for installation by others, with shop drawings and anchor details, and also installs with its own crews. Both are available across Canada.
Which parts of ArcView's line are commercial only?
The architectural metal line: railings and guardrails, fencing and gates, and custom fabrication. It serves commercial, multi-residential and institutional projects from architectural drawings only. Windows and doors are available to both commercial projects and homeowners.
Do you provide shop drawings and engineering?
Shop drawings are prepared on every commercial project. Where the authority having jurisdiction or the consultant requires it, drawings are reviewed and stamped by a licensed engineer in the project's province.
Can the metalwork match the window finish?
Yes. Railings, fencing, louvers and trims are powder coated to the same RAL reference as the ArcView window and door systems, or matched to an existing cladding colour, with a coated sample approved before fabrication.
Where does ArcView serve commercial projects?
Across Canada, from offices in Toronto (North York) and Vancouver, with a Manitoba office in Headingley for Winnipeg projects.
What warranties apply on commercial projects?
ArcView's windows and doors carry a 25-year warranty. Architectural metal carries a 10-year finish warranty on powder coating and 5-year structural warranty on fabricated assemblies. Terms are stated on each project quotation.
How do we start?
Send the architectural drawings, a site plan or a scope list through the quote form and select the product types. ArcView returns a scope confirmation and budget range, then shop drawings once the project proceeds.
