What is the lead time for custom window and door orders?
Typical lead time is 6-8 weeks from order confirmation to delivery. This includes manufacturing, quality control, and shipping. Rush orders may be accommodated for an additional fee - please contact our sales team to discuss your timeline requirements.
Do you provide installation services?
Yes, we offer professional installation services through our certified installation partners across Canada. Our installers are trained specifically on ArcView products and follow strict quality standards. Installation quotes are provided separately based on project scope and location.
What warranty do you offer on your products?
ArcView's limited warranty is itemised by component: 20 years on the aluminum frame, insulated glass units and powder-coated finish; 10 years on hardware, screen frames and laminated glass; 1 year on installation workmanship when ArcView installs. All terms run from substantial completion. Full terms and exclusions are on our warranty page.
Can your windows and doors meet Canadian building codes?
Absolutely. All ArcView products are designed and tested to meet or exceed Canadian building codes (NBC) and ENERGY STAR requirements. We provide NFRC ratings, CSA certifications, and can supply technical documentation for building permit applications.
What customization options are available?
We offer extensive customization including: custom sizes and shapes, various color finishes (powder coating or anodizing), multiple glass options (Low-E, laminated, tinted), hardware selections (ROTO, G-U), and performance upgrades for extreme climates. Our design team can work with your architectural drawings.
How do I maintain aluminum windows and doors?
Aluminum products require minimal maintenance. We recommend: cleaning frames quarterly with mild soap and water, lubricating hardware annually with silicone spray, checking weatherstripping for wear, and inspecting drainage holes for blockages. Detailed maintenance guides are provided with every order.
What is the difference between thermal break and non-thermal break aluminum?
Thermal break aluminum features an insulating barrier between interior and exterior aluminum, dramatically reducing heat transfer and preventing condensation. This results in 40-60% better energy efficiency compared to non-thermal break systems. All ArcView residential products use thermal break technology for Canadian climate conditions.
Does ArcView do railings, fencing and custom metal as well as windows and doors?
Yes. ArcView Architectural Metal fabricates custom aluminum railings and guardrails, commercial fencing and gates, and architectural louvers, screens and panels for commercial, multi-residential and institutional projects across Canada, finished to match ArcView windows and doors. This line is fabricated to drawing and is not offered for single-family homes.
Do you ship internationally or only within Canada?
We primarily serve the Canadian market with established logistics networks across all provinces. For international projects, we can accommodate large commercial orders on a case-by-case basis. Please contact our export department to discuss shipping, duties, and technical compliance for your region.
